Algo Communication Products Ltd. is an innovative technology company manufacturing and supplying IP audio and video communication products to our global customers. We work with some of the largest technology companies in the world to make industrial communication safe, simple, and effective. We are looking for a talented, energetic individual with a passion for technology to join our growing team in Burnaby, B.C as an Hardware Engineer.

A successful candidate will have a solid background in electronics, be eager to learn, and have a collaborative attitude to work with cross functional colleagues.

·       PCB schematic & layout design.

·       Testing and commissioning new hardware.

·       Working with the firmware team to ensure all hardware features work as intended.

·       Selecting and approving alternate components based on market availability.

·       Designing new products, as well as designing automated test jigs to test these products thoroughly and efficiently on the production line.

·       Bachelor Degree/Diplomas/Certificates in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience/education.

·       2+ years Electronics circuit design experience

·       2+ years PCB layout experience

·       Experience with electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter etc)

·       Electronics troubleshooting skills

·       Ability to pick up new tools and technologies quickly

·       Self-starter mindset

·       Experience with Altium PCB layout software

·       Firmware programming experience would be an asset
