The Role:
We are looking for a technical sales professional with knowledge of customer business drivers to adopt the Algo Communications platform. The Solutions Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and plays an integral part in delivering solutions to our customers. This individual serves as the lead advocate for customers; translating technical needs into product development, recommendations, testing of customer environments and driving customer demand/features internally within Algo Communications. Must be able to understand and articulate Algo Communications' architectural advantages to our customers and support the Sales team when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customers' biggest collaboration challenges. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a background in telephony, video and applications sales.
Responsibilities:
- Follow solution sales best practices to develop a clear understanding of the customer’s business and people practices. Capture customer needs, requirements and the customer’s desired future state.
- Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement solutions with Algo's VoIP technologies and products.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Algo's existing and future products and services.
- Partner with the Algo Sales team by owning all technical aspects of the opportunity.
- Technically qualify business opportunities, raise key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers with the product engineering team.
- Support the technical relationship with Algo customers, including product and solution demos, proof-of-concept work.
- Partner directly with the engineering team to prioritize new features and technical developments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical experience in client facing sales, presales, consulting, or technical architect roles
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role required.
- Previous experience in Telecom, Networking, VoIP or paging
- Strong business acumen and executive presence.
- In-depth knowledge of "traditional" voice communications systems and applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to create, present, and document technical solutions.
- Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes.
- Expert level solution sales ability.
- Understand Algo Communications partner and ecosystem partners, products, and applications.
- Mentor developing team members.
- Act as a leader when the situation warrants.
- Be flexible and able to function in a high-growth environment.
Compensation
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
