The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the customer-facing design of our software products. In this role, you will translate business requirements into actionable designs and collaborate closely with both engineering and customer teams to ensure seamless feature implementation. You’ll manage the progress of development, oversee beta deployments, and gather feedback to refine products. This is a design-focused role, where you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centric solutions that meet both technical and business needs. This role works closely with Algo software engineers, this role is not a hands-on coding role.

Responsibilities:

Lead the customer-facing design of new software features
Act as a liaison between the customer and technical teams to design the product’s functionalities.
Break down high-level requirements into detailed designs and communicate them to development teams.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and sales teams during customer calls.
Work closely with the engineering team to assess feasibility and ensure efficient implementation.
Create engineering requirements, including high-level storyboarding and detailed design/interface specifications.
Manage Jira tickets to log detailed feature requests for developers.
Interface with Beta customers, track progress, and gather feedback on new features.
Test features hands-on before release to ensure they meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role
Strong ability to bridge the gap between customer needs and technical execution.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Solid understanding of software technology and general implementation processes.
Hands-on knowledge of our software products from a customer perspective, with the ability to translate customer requirements into detailed design specifications.
Experience working with Jira or similar task management systems.
Proven experience in a technical product or project management role within software development.
Familiarity with Beta testing processes and managing customer feedback loops.
Design-focused mindset with the ability to create intuitive, user-friendly features and storyboards.
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement within teams, assist with onboarding, and support the hiring process for technical roles.

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
